You are meant to be whatever you dream of becoming

Always aim higher than you believe you can reach. So often, you'll discover that when your talents are set free by your imagination, you can achieve any goal.

If people offer their help or wisdom as you go through life, accept it gratefully. You can learn much from those who have gone before you. But never be afraid or hesitant to step off the accepted path and head off in your own direction if your heart tells you that it's the right way for you.

Always believe that you will ultimately succeed at whatever you do, and never forget the value of persistence, discipline, and determination.

You are meant to be whatever you dream of becoming.

How do you build a big “trust account”?

When you build a big “trust account”, business are easily done, abundance are easily obtained.

Trust of people is more important than anything else in the world of business.

Whether you are seeking work, looking for investor to invest in your venture, looking for friends, or searching for love, remember to build yourself a “ trust account”.

Once people trust you, the abundance of money, friends, love and opportunities will start flowing into your life. How do you build a big “trust account”?

1.When you promise someone you will do something by a certain date, make sure it is done, and it is done on time.

2.Always deliver over and beyond the normal standard and expectation.

3.Respond to people’s request faster than they expected. Never, ever, ignore people’s calls and emails.

4.Give people your undivided attention when they trust you with a particular project.

5.When you are given an opportunity , earn your respect by giving your personal best to honour the trust of people.

6.When you make a mistake, claim full responsibility. Never, ever justify or give excuses. When you justify and give excuses, you will not only lose people’s trust, you will also lose their respect, and believe me, that is bad.

7.Never, never, ever lie. Always tell the truth. Even if it is the truth about your incompetence or poor character. People can easily accept and forgive your poor conduct once you are open and honest with them and take responsibility for it, but they will not accept and forgive liars easily. Once people find out that you are a liar, that is the end of your trust account.

8.When you achieve something great, always give credit to those who has helped you along the way. Accept the honour with humbleness and gratitude.

9.When you try really hard, give it your personal best and still fail at the project, do not get angry with yourself or blame others. Be honest, claim your defeat, accept the fact that you are not capable enough to do it, and immediately, explore options to learn more about it.

10.Never, ever gossip or engage in any form of small talks. A rule of thumb—-Only say good things about other people. Never criticise someone else behind their back.

11.When someone makes a mistake, help them erase their self guilt and feeling of incompetence. Encourage them not to give up. Every mistake made and corrected is one step closer to success.

12.When people betray you, let you down, hurt you, forgive them, give them another chance, and thank them for teaching you lessons of compassion, understanding, tolerance and acceptance. These people should be seen as your greatest teachers.

13.Loving people who are nice to you and love you is not a virtue. Loving the unlovable takes the heart of a hero. When you are able to love the people who hurt you the most, and see them as your best teachers, you have earned the trust of God. Lovely Thoughts for Lovely People Just Like You

Be The Sun, Be The Light, Be The Change

One day, the wind sees a man who wears a big coat walking on the beach.

The wind wants to prove that he is the mightiest force of nature, so he challenges the sun.

He says to the sun, “I am mightier than you are. Let’s prove it by seeing who can blow off the man’s coat. The sun laughs and replies, “Sure, my friend, go for it.”

So the wind starts to blow strongly, trying to blow off the man’s coat.

The problem is that the stronger the wind blows, the tighter the man holds on to his coat. After a while, the wind exhausts himself, gives up and says to the sun,

“Well, I can’t do it, and if I can’t do it, you can’t do it either.” The sun laughs again, and says, “I don’t have to do anything. I just need to be what I am.” Then the sun quietly rises, the weather becomes so hot, the man takes off his coat.” Most people are resistant to change; many are like the man with his coat.

They wear a big thick coat of negativity, sadness, depression, and unhappiness. If you adapt the method of wind by trying to change them with force, they will hold on to their negative emotion more than ever before. If you want to help them take off and let go of their unwanted emotions, you must learn from the sun.

When people face the sun, they don’t see the shadows. When people face the light, they don’t see the darkness.

So Be The Sun, Be The Light, Be The Change. Demonstrate the values , the traits that you want to see in them.

Soon , you will experience a liberational change among your circle of friends.

People naturally aspire to something higher , even though at times, their aspiration presents itself in forms of envy. That is not a bad thing if you help them transform this envy into a creative energy to produce a desirable outcome for themselves. We are all on the same path of fulfilling our common destiny. So we need to lift each other and ascend together. Be The Sun that shines upon the darkness. Be the source of inspiration, Be the Change you want to see. Be The Power that creates abundance. In being so, you are lifting the world.

Shortcut To Success

Giving with gratitude. Giving offers you the short cut to personal success. Have you heard that the quickest way to be abundant is to become the source of someone else’s abundance? Life works in circles. Whatever you give out, comes back to you a thousand folds; it happens without fail. It may not come back from the person you gave to, but it always comes back. Giving is a powerful energy; it energises the giver and the receiver. When you freely give to others, you are subconsciously telling your mind that you are wealthy, you are rich, and you are abundant. You have more, unlimited supply of what others want. This subconscious programming sets the right foundation for your success, because when your subconscious mind knows that you are rich and abundant, it becomes your reality. Always give with humbleness. Always thank the person you give to for offering you an opportunity to offer your kindness. If they are not there needing your help, you would not have had the opportunity to give. When you give out of the purity of love and compassion, you become one step closer to your ultimate success. I went to a parent teacher interview today.

The teacher said to me , “ I have taught many thousands of children. Your child is the only child I have ever known who is so giving, so detached from her personal belongings. She made me cry yesterday.

One of the girls said to her “I wish my mum would buy me a watch like yours.” Your daughter immediately took off her watch and gave it to the girl, “you can have it, Jenny, it looks good on you.” Jenny put the watch onto her wrist and she was overjoyed. “Won’t you get into trouble with your Mum and Dad “Jenny was then concerned.

Your daughter actually gave Jenny a hug and said to her,” No, I never get into trouble with my Mum and Dad. They love me, love me , love me and love me. They will be very happy and thankful that you really like the watch, and you are so happy for having it. So thank you , Jenny, now let ‘s go and play.” Success is not just measured by how much you have and accomplished. It has to be measured first of all by your inner state of joy, abundance, fullness and fulfilment. We have taught our kids from a very young age that they are the richest people in the world. Whenever they give something to someone, we always give them twice as much of what they have given away.

Last week, my son gave his MP4 player to a friend whose parents cannot afford to buy him too many things. I said to my son,”

What would you like me to get you to replace what you have given away.” He replied to me, “ Mum, you don’t have to keep doing this , I am old enough now, I have got what you are trying to teach me. I don’t give because I want something back. I gave the MP4 to Jimmy because he needs it more than I do, that is all. I don’t need anything. So chill….” When a young child put someone else’s need in front of his or her own and freely detach from the need to possess things, their success in life has been set into motion. Love , compassion, and freedom are the foundation in which they are going to make decision from.

When you live your life out of this unshakable inner strength of self confidence, state of abundance, and inner peace, your success is inevitable.

Smile It increases Your Face Value

Smile costs nothing but creates much. Smile enriches those who receive without impoverishing those who give it. Smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in a business, and is the countersign of friends. Smile is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature's best antidote for trouble. Smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody unless it is given away. Nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give...

THE DARK CANDLE

A man had a little daughter--an only and much beloved child. He lived only for her, she was his life. So when she became ill and her illness resisted the efforts of the best obtainable physicians, he became like a man possessed, moving heaven and earth to bring about her restoration to health. His best efforts proved fruitless, however, and the child died. The father was totally irreconcilable. He became a bitter recluse, shutting himself away from his many friends, refusing every activity that might restore his poise and bring him back to his normal self. Then one night he had a dream. He was in heaven and witnessing a grand pageant of all the little child angels. They were marching in an apparently endless line past the Great White Throne. Every white-robed, angelic tot carried a candle.

He noticed, however, that one child's candle was not lit. Then he saw that the child with the dark candle was his own little girl.

Rushing towards her, while the pageant faltered, he seized her in his arms, caressed her tenderly, and asked, "How is that your candle is the only one not lit?"

"Father, they often relight it, but your tears always put it out again," she said.

Just then he awoke from from his dream. The lesson was crystal clear, and it's effects were immediate. From that hour on he was no longer a recluse, but mingled freely and cheerfully with his former friends and associates. No longer would his little darling's candle be extingushed by his useless tears.

UGLY THE TOMCAT

Everyone in the apartment complex I lived in knew who Ugly was.

Ugly was the resident tomcat. Ugly loved three things in this world: fighting, eating garbage, and, shall we say, love.

The combination of these things combined with a life spent outside had their effect on Ugly.

To start with, he had only one eye, and where the other should have been, there was a hole. He was also missing his ear on the same side. His left foot appeared to have been badly broken at one time and had healed at an unnatural angle, making him look like he was always turning the corner.

Ugly would have been a dark gray tabby, striped type, except for the sores covering his head, neck, and even his shoulders. Every time someone saw Ugly there was the same reaction. "That's one UGLY cat!!!" All the children were warned not to touch him, the adults threw rocks at him, hosed him down, squirted him when he tried to come in their homes, or shut his paws in the door when he would not leave.

Ugly always had the same reaction. If you turned the hose on him, he would stand there, getting soaked until you gave up and quit. If you threw things at him, he would curl his lanky body around your feet in forgiveness.

Whenever he spied children, he would come running, meowing frantically and bump his head against their hands, begging for their love. If you ever picked him up he would immediately begin suckling on your shirt, earrings, whatever he could find.

One day Ugly shared his love with the neighbor's dogs. They did not respond kindly, and Ugly was badly mauled. I tried to rush to his aid. By the time I got to where he was laying, it was apparent Ugly's sad life was almost at an end. As I picked him up and tried to carry him home, I could hear him wheezing and gasping, and could feel him struggling. It must be hurting him terribly, I thought. Then I felt a familiar tugging, sucking sensation on my ear.

gly, in so much pain, suffering and obviously dying, was trying to suckle my ear. I pulled him closer to me, and he bumped the palm of my hand with his head, then he turned his one golden eye towards me, and I could hear the distinct sound of purring.

Even in the greatest pain, that ugly battled scarred cat was asking only for a little affection, perhaps some compassion. At that moment I thought Ugly was the most beautiful, loving creature I had ever seen.

Never once did he try to bite or scratch me, try to get away from me, or struggle in any way. Ugly just looked up at me completely trusting in me to relieve his pain. Ugly died in my arms before I could get inside, but I sat and held him for a long time afterwards, thinking about how one scarred, deformed little stray could so alter my opinion about what it means to have true pureness of spirit, to love so totally and truly.

Ugly taught me more about giving and compassion than a thousand books, lectures, or talk show specials ever could, and for that I will always be thankful. He had been scarred on the outside, but I was scarred on the inside, and it was time for me to move on and learn to love truly and deeply -- to give my total to those I cared for.

Many people want to be richer, more successful, well liked, and beautiful -- except for me. I will always try to be Ugly.

Life is a gift -Live it-Enjoy it-Celebrate it -And fulfill it

Today before you think of saying an unkind word Think of someone who can’t speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food
Think of someone who has nothing to eat .

Before you complain about your husband or wife
Think of someone who’s crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life
Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children
Think of someone who desires children but they’re barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house; someone didn’t clean or sweep ,Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive
Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job
Think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another Remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down
Put a smile on your face and thank God you’re alive and still around.

Life is a gift
Live it…
Enjoy it…
Celebrate it…
And fulfill it.

And while you are at it give love to someone today
Love someone with what you do and the words you say
Love is not meant to be kept locked inside of us and hidden. So give it away “Give Love to someone today!”

The Violin Player

*The Violin Player*

It happened in Paris, in a centric street although secondary. This man, dirty and smelly, played an old violin. Before him and on the floor he placed his beret, with the hope that the passers-by had pity of his condition and threw some coins to take home.

The poor man tried to bring forth a melody, but it was impossible to identify it at all due to the out of tune of the instrument, and the unpleasant and boring way he played that violin.

A famous concert performer, who along with his wife and some friends was coming out of a nearby theatre, passed in front of the musical beggar.

All wrinkled the face to hear those so discordant sounds. And could not help but laugh heartedly.

The wife asked the concert performer to play something. The man took a look at the few coins inside the beret, and decided to do something.

He requested the violin. And the musical beggar lent it with certain reticence. At first the concert performer did was to tune its strings. And then, vigorously and with great mastery he drew a fascinating melody from the old instrument.

His friends started to applaud and the passers-by started to gather around to see the improvised spectacle. After listening to the music, people of the nearby main street came too and soon there was a small multitude listening in rapture to the strange concert.

The beret got full not only of coins, but of many bills of all denominations, while the maestro played melody after melody, with so much joy.

The musical beggar was even happier to see what was going on, and did not cease to jump up and down in joy and proudly reaping to all, "That is my violin!!, That is my violin!!". Which is, of course, rigorously true.

In life we all have "a violin". It is our knowledge, our abilities and our attitudes. And we have the absolute freedom to play "that violin" as we please.

It was said to us that God concede upon us free will, say, the faculty to decide what we will do with our life. And this, of course, is both a marvellous right, as well as, a formidable responsibility.

Some, by laziness, not even tune that violin. They do not perceive that in the present world you have to prepare yourself, learn, develop abilities and constantly improve attitudes if we want to perform a good concert.

They want a beret full of money, and what they deliver is a discordant melody that nobody likes. That is the people who do their job in the form, "here it goes... " Who think in terms of "it costs me...", and that believe that humanity has an obligation to pay for their bad performance, covering all their needs.

It is the people that think only of their rights, but feel no obligation to own them. Truth, as harsh as it may seem to us, is otherwise. You and I, and any other person, have to learn sooner or later, that the best places are for those that not only tune well that violin, but who learn over time to play it with mastery too.

That is why we are willing to do well in our daily job, whatever it may be. And to always aspire to prepare ourselves to be able to accomplish other things we would like.

History is full of examples of people that even with initial difficulties became good concert performers with their violins (their lives).

And also, unfortunately, it registers cases of many others, that having great opportunities, decided with that violin, to become music beggars.

*The truth is that God bestowed upon us "free wi**ll". You can do something great with your life, or make of it a misery. That is your personal decision.*

Most complex problems do have a solution

Many years ago in a small Indian village, a farmer had the misfortune of owing a large sum of money to a village moneylender.

The moneylender, who was old and ugly, fancied the farmer's beautiful daughter. So he proposed a bargain.

. He said he would forgo the farmer's debt if he could marry his daughter. Both the farmer and his daughter were horrified by the proposal. So the cunning money-lender suggested that they let providence decide the matter. He told them that he would put a black pebble and a white pebble into an empty money bag.

Then the girl would have to pick one pebble from the bag.

1) If she picked the black pebble, she would become his wife and her father's debt would be forgiven.

2) If she picked the white pebble she need not marry him and her father's debt would still be forgiven.

3) But if she refused to pick a pebble, her father would be thrown into jail. They were standing on a pebble strewn path in the farmer's field. As they talked, the moneylender bent over to pick up two pebbles. As he picked them up, the sharp-eyed girl noticed that he had picked up two black pebbles and put them into the bag.

He then asked the girl to pick a pebble from the bag. Now, imagine that you were standing in the field.

What would you have done if you were the girl? If you had to advise her, what would you have told her? Careful analysis would produce three possibilities:

1. The girl should refuse to take a pebble.

2. The girl should show that there were two black pebbles in the bag and expose the money-lender as a cheat.

3. The girl should pick a black pebble and sacrifice herself in order to save her father from his debt and imprisonment. Take a moment to ponder over the story.

The above story is used with the hope that it will make us appreciate the difference between lateral and logical thinking. The girl's dilemma cannot be solved with traditional logical thinking.

Think of the consequences if she chooses the above logical answers. What would you recommend to the Girl to do? Well, here is what she did ....

The girl put her hand into the moneybag and drew out a pebble. Without looking at it, she fumbled and let it fall onto the pebble-strewn path where it immediately became lost among all the other pebbles. "Oh, how clumsy of me," she said. "But never mind, if you look into the bag for the one that is left, you will be able to tell which pebble I picked." Since the remaining pebble is black, it must be assumed that she had picked the white one.

And since the money-lender dared not admit his dishonesty, the girl changed what seemed an impossible situation into an extremely advantageous one.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Most complex problems do have a solution.

It is only that we don't attempt to think. Start your day with this thought provoking story and have a nice day.

THE WINGS OF BURDEN

THE WINGS OF BURDEN

An old legend relates that long ago God had a great many burdens which He wished to have carried from one place to another on earth, so He asked the animals to lend a hand. But all of them began to make excuses for not helping: the elephant was too dignified; the lion, too proud; and so on. Finally the birds came to God and said, "If you will tie the burdens into small bundles, we'll be glad to carry them for you. We are small but we would like to help."

So God fastened upon the back of each one a small bundle, and they all set out walking across the plain to their destination. They sang as they went, and did not seem to feel the weight of their burdens at all. Every day the burdens seemed lighter and lighter, until the loads seems to be lifting the birds, instead of the birds carrying the burdens.

When they arrived at their destination, they discovered that when they removed their loads, there were wings in their place, wings which enabled them to fly to the sky and the tree tops.

They had learned how to carry their burdens, and their loads had become wings to carry them nearer to God! REFLECTION Burdens we carry for others may become wings of the spirit, to lift us into happiness such as we have never known!!

The Two Headed Bird

The Two Headed Bird

There once lived a bird with two heads. Each of the head takes rest while the other stay awake and stay on guard. One of the head was very fond of sleeping, therefore it was often that the other head had to stay awake and on guard. When it is time for meal, the waking head would wake the sleepy head to eat together, then after eating, the sleepy head will continue to sleep again. The waking head also did not mind the situation.

One day the waking head says, "Hey, i am tired and want to sleep, so you will be the one on guard!" When the waking head was deep in his sleep, suddenly through the gust of wind, a fresh juicy fruit rolled down up from above towards the two-headed bird.Seeing that the waking head had slept very soundly, the sleepy head felt hestitation to wake him up, the sleeping head thought, even though if he eat the fruit alone, the waking head would also enjoy it.

Finally, the sleepy head had finished eating the fresh juicy fruit. Suddenly the waking head woke up from his sleep and, "Eeeekh! What food have you eaten? Why did the burp have good smell?" So the sleepy head replied, "A very juicy fruit. I hestitated disturbing your sleep, so i ate it alone." The waking head seemed irritated and said, "For such a tasty fruit, why did not you wake me up to enjoy it together? Fine, one day i shall revenge on this!"

Few weeks have passed, "Today you may rest, let me be on the guard!" said the waking head. Suddenly there came again another fruit blown by the wind towards the two-headed bird. But he was aware that the fruit was of a poisonous kind, an evil thought sparked in his mind, "I shall eat this fruit. Even if it kills, let us both die!" With heart full of hatred he consumed the poisonous fruit!

When we harm others, we are actually harming ourselves too, for in deeper reality, we are not separated and is one. Harming oneself also means harming others too!!!
